A rocking Barcamp Kathmandu 2010
Finally after many days of wait and preparation Barcamp Kathmandu 2010 has concluded. It has been an awesome day with so many enthusiastic people showing up. Some really great ideas were presented and shared. It was an overwhelming response. We had in excess of 200 physical attendees and over 600 online viewers. It has been a great event and it would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors, our organizers, volunteers and of course you the people who attended the event. We hope to see all you people hopefully after six months.

Our Fellow Barcamp organizers Anjan Shrestha(anjhero), Bibek Shrestha(bibstha), Prashant Shrestha(prashant_sh), Shankar Pokhrel(snkr) went on air at Image FM 97.9 with popular radio show host Chirag Bangdel in his radio program “Close up you and me” to talk about the upcoming Barcamp event in Kathmandu. They gave listeners an idea about what a Barcamp is and What they can expect from this event and Who should be there. As you all know the second Barcamp Kathmandu is being held on August 28, 2010 at Sap Falcha Baber Mahal. So be there for this wonderful event.

Venue for Barcamp Kathmandu decided
After a long search for a suitable venue we have finally settled with SAP Falcha. Last year the barcamp was organized at Yala Maya Kendra, Patan Dhoka. This year too we were hoping to get the same venue but due to certain complications we were unable to get Yala Maya Kendra. After searching for many alternatives we finally settled for SAP Falcha. We will be using two Halls for hosting concurrent sessions. SAP Falcha has a really nice Halls and ample space. There is also place for people too just hangout and chill and maybe take a break from the presentation.
