Duration:
15-20 minutes

This session will focus on the importance of having stimulating discussion about political economy of Nepal, doing well-founded research and analysis, and presenting them in a form that it is accessible to and fathomable by general audience. Additionally, this session will discuss one of the easiest way to understand our messy economy, and where it is heading to in the next decade. As a bonus feature, I will share my experience regarding research activities and engagement with policymakers while working at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a global think tank based in Washington, DC!

Importantly, I will share ideas on how I regularly write columns focusing on economic issues in Republica Daily and what its response has been so far. Expect and interesting and totally stimulating session.

It will be an extension to the presentation I gave during last year’s session.
