Information technology has finally started to serve in the daily lives of Nepali
people with various banks offering various services opened up to the public through
automation and internet, various Malls and shopping center’s promoting the use of
Cards over hefty carried cash, and businesses accepting the value of transactions
made over the internet. Life has become easier and things look perfectly sound, but
the odds it brings can not be underestimated.

There are various risks associated with the technology that looks so fascinating. The
theft of private data, identity theft, debit/credit cards theft, etc.

So, the proper use of technology in such fields is a must and all the stake holders,
from service providers to users, government bodies to enforcing agents should be
well aware of the various risks and means to minimize, if not wipe out, these risks.

We hereby, propose the formation of a community for creating awareness and sharing
knowledge in this regard so as to safe tune the use of information technology in
various aspects of our life.
